By now you’ve heard Mardi Gras parades and all the events that come along with them have been canceled to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus. But any local knows Mardi Gras can’t really be canceled because it is a religious holiday and a spirit that lives within the people of New Orleans.

TSG photographer, Paul Morse, hit the streets to capture some very powerful images of what it looks like in the city. From house floats to an empty Jackson Square, we don’t know what this weekend holds, but we have our fingers crossed we’ll see you next year dancing in the street to our favorite marching band.
